Collier & Miller is seeking application for an Mechanical Engineering Cadet to join our manufacturing team.

This position will suit a Higher School Certificate graduate with a mechanical/engineering aptitude, who is looking to complete their university degree while working full time. This position will contribute to the Engineering Division by working with customers, tradespeople and management to design and manufacture innovative agricultural machinery. You will be a part of the manufacturing process from design concept and drafting through to manufacturing, testing and delivery. This position is a key part of the manufacturing process, providing workshop drawings and interpretations for the Engineering Team.

We are looking for

This full time position will suit an individual who is keen to learn the skills in the field of agricultural machinery. Proficient computer skills and a high mechancial/engineering aptitude is ideal. The position requires someone who can use their drafting skills and experience to build innovative agricultural machinery.

About the Job

Working in our modern design center you will partcipate in the machinery manufacturing process from concept to completion. The position allows you the opportunity to build and learn as a designer to explore concepts and provide innovative solutions to customers requirements. You will work with a team of experienced people who will assist you to gain work experience while studying.
